Gouker Alta M. Gouker, 73, of 90 D Municipal Road, Hanover, died Sunday, Sept. 13 at her residence. Born in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Adolphus and Violet Small Frock. She was employed by the New Oxford Box Co. for 10 years prior to her retirement in 1981. She was a member of the Hanover Eagles. She is survived by a son, Donald L. Gouker of Hanover; a daughter, Donna M. Menchey of East Berlin; six brothers and sisters, Harold Wentz of Hanover, Bertha Hoover of Hanover, Howard Frock of Hanover, Pauline Nitchman of Gettysburg, Paul Frock of Hanover, and Edward Frock of Norristown; and three granddaughters. Funeral services will be private at the discretion of the family. Memorial contributions can be sent to the American Cancer Society, 656 Johns Ave., Gettysburg. Wetzel Funeral Home 549 Carlisle St, Hanover, is in charge of the arrangements.
