I'm a decendent of Johann George Winter and live in York County, PA. I have a copy of his "will" which I am willing to share. George was clearly of German extration but his "will" is written in English. The earliest dates I can confirm his presents in the United States are from Lancaster PA tax and church records in the late 1780's and 1790 census data.
