By using Dr. Hively's map, the nearby landmark of the John Schultz house, and the 1767 warrant survey, I know the northern boundary of the Peterman plantation adjoined the southern boundary of the John Schultz farm which was sold to Daniel Brubaker in 1776. Since the southern section of Michael Peterman's property was called "dry hill" described as "a poor stony hill on which there is no water and but little timber" - the Peterman homestead, no doubt was on the northern acreage adjoining Camp Security. My question is whether all of the Peterman homestead was developed or is part of the undeveloped area referred to as the "Weist farm" area of the "Brubaker Tract" ?
