This Smith family in Washington Twp 1850 census has the Isaac of the right age to be the Isaac who gave Israel the Deed of Assignment because of indebtedness. Thus I think Israel is the older brother of Isaac not the son of Isaac which I assumed in a previous message. The 1840 census for John should show the 2 males born 1829/30 and 1833/34.
