Michael Myer of Trumbull Co., OH said in 1849 that he knew and lived near Andrew Patterson in the Barrens of York CO., PA. I found this in the Footnote Pensions for Andrew Patterson W2844. I also saw an article from The York Dispatch called County Notebook which states that the Scotch Irish settled in the Barrens in southeast York. I would assume that to be Shrewbury, Fawn, and Chanceford. I know Andrew md Margaret Dickson in York in 1785 but by 1808 he is living in Mercer Co., PA which became Lawrence Co., PA after 1850.
