A large amount of the Prowell family from Fairview Township in York County are buried at Salem Church on Valley Road in York County, Pa. I am married to a Prowell for over 48 years now and he and I have both walked lots of cemeteries in doing our research. The very early Prowell's are buried in Prowell Cemetery, located on private land and not accessible at this time. I have tried and tried to get onto the property, but the owners will not let anyone have access. There is no other way to get to the Prowell Cemetery since it is located on top of a hill in the middle of a field. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
