Hi Blake, I am speaking in relative terms for recent obits - this year. I just could not understand for an area as small as the Hanover area why there are 3 papers online with obits and each paper seems to publish obits that the others do not. Was wondering if one charged more, maybe another was free, maybe it comes down to preference on publication....I do not live in the area any longer so I was just a bit puzzled. It really come down to the area. Generally, people from York will not place obits in the Hanover paper and vice versa, unless the deceased had ties to that town. In general terms, Hanover and York and 2 completely different types of towns, but that discussion is better off list.
