Tonnage: 24,581. Dimensions: 677' x 77' (699' o.l.). Twin-screw, 18 knots. Quadruple expansion engines. Four masts and two funnels. History: Note: Launched as the largest ship in the world. Passengers: 472 first, 174 second, 1,820 third. Ceded to Great Britain after First World War. Served in Cunard Line fleet for a time. Acquired by Canadian Pacific Line in 1921. Renamed: Empress of Scotland (1921). Scrapped in 1934. This is the ship John Montgomery and his family came to America on. They arrived 9 Sept 1920 departing from Liverpool and arriving in New York City. They say their last permanent residence was Anney rathmullen. I counln't find it exdactly but I think its NE of Letterkenny in Northern Ireland Donegal County. there are several towns with rathmillum as the last part of their name in that area.
