PA. My ancestor Johannes came from Bretten Germany in 1742 and settled in Lancaster. His brother Hans Konrad came about a year later, and he seems to have eventually moved on to York. Lots of their children lived either in York or Lancaster. their father was Joahnnes Baptista Doll. I have a good line on the Doll family back to the 1500's in Bretten and also know my line to Johannes. However, I am working to know as much about this line of Dolls just out of curiosity. I had too little time in my visit to York and Lancaster to really untangle the Dolls. I have several strings of Dolls who dead end in York PA and I cannot yet connect them to either Johannes or Hans Konrad. I would be glad to share what I have and compare anything you have.
