A few years ago when visiting in York we found the large concrete/brick name sign with lots of trees and bushes growing around it. Perhaps its been cleared since then. I'll need the address for the cemetery too. Do you know Ross Fetrow? He is a friend of mine and lives near there. Renee Waring **************It's Tax Time! 3. Sue, The York County Archives has some tax lists for Monaghan Township for some early years. They probably have tax lists for some other townships too, but I did not ask. However, none of the tax lists are online. Their web site is http://www.york-county.org/departments/archives/archives.htm. 2. Todd Zeigler
    3. Hi everyone, I'm looking for information on Clark W. Sipe, who was born March 1897 in York County, PA. He was the son of William H. (born May 1856) and Catharine (born Oct. 1860), who lived in Newberry Township in 1900 & 1910. I can not find Clark in 1920, so I'm not sure he was in York County. His parents were still in Newberry Township in 1920. In 1930, Clark lived in York City with his wife, Hellen, and their children: Hellen, Betty Jane & Mary Louise. Clark was a barber at that time. I am particullary interested in where Clark & Helen are buried, as well as any other information, including currently living descendents, etc. Thanks in adavance for your help! -- Todd A. 1. [PAYork] German emigrants record
    2. Greetings All, I wanted to share a site I stumbled onto today. Some of you may know how to locate and use German search engines. I discovered today that you can use Google translator to translate a whole web page. I searched for my husbands ggg grandfather on Ahnenforschung.net. I was surprised and located him in a record that is called : Auswanderergesuche ein Badischen Anzeigeblatt 1859. Roughly translated 1859 Record of Emigrants from Baden (Anzeigeblatt ?) ***Although this is dated 1859 it contains names of people who emigrated years before and were just now being recorded. Peter Wilhelm Fitzky registered his intent in 1852 and was approved in 1856, however it isn't until 1859 that his departure was recorded. Below is the direct link . To get there go to Google translator first then paste the address in the browser to get the English translation. There are over 22 pages( condensed on 4 web pages) containing the names of people who emigrated to America and other destinations. _http://forum.ahnenforschung.net/thread.php?threadid=5212&threadview=0&hilight =&hilightuser=0&page=1_ (http://forum.ahnenforschung.net/thread.php?threadid=5212&threadview=0&hilight=&hilightuser=0&page=1) I did cut and paste the whole file but as it is 22 pages long I did not feel it prudent to post it all here. if the moderator of this site wants to post it in installments, let me know and I will email it to you.
