My Joseph Peter Stornbaugh (Stombaugh, Stambaugh) had a brother Peter Lewis/Louis Stornbaugh. Both seem to have had the name of Peter. I had been unable to locate him after 1860, until a trip to the York Co. Historical Library. I found a reference, in a city directory, to a Louis Stornbaugh in Harrisburg in 1863. Joseph Peter Stornbaugh and Sarah Jane Hildebrand are buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery. They were married 6 Dec 1860 in Abbottstown. Sarah was deceased by 1900 and Joseph was living with his son Charles and his family. Thanks again. I'm hoping there is someone who can shed some light on this for me. Henry Doll (1840-1930) is my great-grandfather, below he is shown as a 10 yr. old in the 1850 census. On the same census page, in another household is his grandfather, Henry Doll (1786-1859). I would like to know the names of the parents of the children & young adults living with the elder Henry. I suspect that he is a grandfather to these children, but I'm not certain.
