Anyway - I just answered my own question about George's first wife Eve - I searched on Philip Dewalt and came up with George Miclheim's (!! another spelling) Will! Yes, I don't know how I missed this before. I see you have Johann George b. 1740 married before Catherine Wildasin - do you have a source for this? And, as I surmised, you place Peter, Nicholas and Magdalena as their children as well, but I note you don't have baptisms for them. Did you figure this from George's probate or from Nicholas' will? I'll probably have lots more questions for you. I haven't digested this all yet - have you dealt at all with Christian b. abt. 1720, who was married to M. Catharine Barnitz? I have a strong suspician that he's father to John George as well as some others (I'm hoping my John C.(Christian??) who was born abt. 1750 and came into Northampton Co. PA by 1787.) Search for "German Immigrant ships' lists" and you'll find them. Took the "Oath of Allegiance" in Phil., PA. They were expelled Lutherans and their families traveled "the great wagon road" from PA to Maryland, VA and down to the "Salzburger" community of Ebenezer, GA. Watch for middle names (almost all were "John" fist names but they were known by middle). I've just discovered that "Heinsman" (later Anglized to "Hindsman") is a name from the Netherlands - "Heinsmans'" migrated into the Westphalin area of Germany after 1590.First into America were parents Jerg & Cathrine Heinsman (1734)w/children:Susanna, Anthony,Johan Henrich,Maria Magdelena,Joseph, Johannes. Jerg is also listed as "Jurgen". Hope this helps? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
