    3. Since Wrightsville is in York County, perhaps the York County Heritage Trust would have information. See: <www.yorkheritage.org> or email: info@yorkheritage.org Some years ago the DAR was involved in doing complete cemetery transcriptions in a number of areas. Perhaps this lead could be researched as well. > [Original Message] > From: Mellinger's <llfish@yorkinternet.net> > To: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com>; <payork@rootsweb.com> > Cc: <PAYORK-L@rootsweb.com> > Date: 3/7/2009 1:40:57 PM > Subject: Re: [PAYork] Wrightsville Cemetery > > The group in charge of the cemetery is not very cooperative. > > The telephone number is (717) 252-1037. > > Wrightsville Borough does not provide any info regarding the cemetery. > It is a private organization. > > gc-gateway@rootsweb.com wrote: > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > > > Author: ppadula197 > > Surnames: > > Classification: queries > > > > Message Board URL: > > > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counti es.york/15044.1/mb.ashx > > > > Message Board Post: > > > > The name of the cemetery is "Fairview". 3. Donna, I live in Georgia so attending these workshops is out of the question for me as much as I would like to be there. I may have corresponded with you in the past about the surname Heller, If I have I am sorry to bother you again .I have a Heller grandmother (greats removed) She was Catherine Heller daughter of John and married Rev John Nicholas Schmucker in 1800 in Virginia. She may have also had a brother John, as there was a John Heller who was married in the 1790's also in Shenandoah Co. Va. I also found two apparent Heller brothers in Rockingham Co Va. John and Adam who were both listed on each others children's baptisms as sponsors. Of course neither one in this record had a Catherine. Can you give me any clues where I might look further for this Heller family? Any help apprecited. 1. [PAYork] looking for information on George and Catherine Beck, Bonge, Wilt
    2. Elaine Wendt
    3. My 3rd great grandmother born Cathrine Wilt was my 3rd great grandfather Frederick Bonge's widow with 6 children . He died in 1813 In 1817 she married George Beck in Trinity Lutheran Church in York. After that I have found only 3 definite references to them . On Sept. 10 1823 her father Johannes Wilt died and was buried in Quickel's cemetery. In his will Catherine is listed as wife of George Beck. In March 1832 Catherine and George were listed as sponsors when her grandson , my g.grandfather Alfred Wilt Bonge/Bongey was baptized at the First Moravian Church in York.Catherine's paternal grandmother was Barbara Groff. In the Groff Book 1 she is listed on page 152 as M221 Catherine Wilt b. Aug 12 1781 in Dover twp. , m. George Beck. I do not know if they had children of their own or where or when they died although an undocumented source on the internet put her death as 1850. I would appreciate any information on George and Catherine Beck.Thank you for any help. Elaine from Wisconsin
