George Hassler (b. Nov 14, 1758, d. May 24. 1837 in Adams Co. Pa) married Elizabeth Roemer (b.Oct.18, 1761). Their son Daniel (b. Oct 19, 1791 d. April 6, 1829) married Mary Slentz. Harriet married 2- John Sterling abt. 1867. They had 2 children.... Joseph Lee, and Catharine C. Harriet and John Sterling divorced late 1860's. John married 2- Laura Koller. All previous info took place in Shrewsbury/Glen Rock area. They had 16 or 17 children, tho only 4 or 5 survived to adulthood. John and Laura moved to Philadelphia abt 1877. Most of their children were born in Philadelphia. I have a few pictures that were taken in Shrewsbury/Glen Rock area.....probably 1900 to 1904 or 5. One is of a whole group of folks at a wagon, standing in front of or sitting on it, in front of Christ Lutheran Church, Main St., Shrewsbury, Pa. (thank you Dr. Neal Hively for identification of church). Also have a picture of a several women, in distance, with home behind them....(unidentified). Clothing in each picture is long skirts/dresses for the ladies. Only notation on any pics is "Sterling Reunion". Hope to hear from anyone connected with any of the surnames listed above. Have a few connections, so far. One with a Roser relative and several with Sterling relatives from John's 1st marriage. and one from 2nd marriage.. Nothing from any Markels or Kollers.
