Margaret's sister did take the baby for a short time, but not the older boy. When the sister could not longer care for the infant girl, the child was place in the home. The Orwig's do not have photos, nor anything of Margaret's. Margaret's head stone reads only "Mother", not her name. Thank you for your help with this, if you run across any additional information, please let me know. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Cora married my grandfather after his first wife died, they began a new family. He and Cora abandoned his first marriage children, placing one in the Children's Home of York and the other in another inst. As I understand it, Cora destroyed everything that belonged to her husband's (my grandfather) deceased wife (my grandmother). I have been trying to locate members of Cora's family in the hopes that perhaps they might have old photos of Cora's husband's first wife. You were correct, Cora married but once.
