Hello, I am seeking any help in researching the ZEIGLER, ZIEGLER, ZIGLER, SIGLAR, ETC. surname in Huntington Twp. before 1810. I have found those surnames in census records but need help finding other sources. This seems to be the direction my research is taking me at the moment. From York, my lineage went to Adams County, PA (Latimore Twp area) > possibly Cumberland Co, PA> Perry Co, PA and finally to Dauphin Co, PA. But I want to concentrate on the earliest folks with my surname that I can find. (By the way, I am certain that the family of George Philip Ziegler in Manchester Twp. is "not" my line. They are well researched and are not mine.) Thank you in advance for ANY suggestions, lookups, help of any kind. Elizabeth

I would like someone to copy a file of about +/-30 pages that are located in the York County Heritage Trust @¢ 250 East Market Street, York, PA 17403, 717.848.1587 - 717.812.1204 (fax). The name I am looking for is SELMEYER. I have communicated with the library and they do in fact have this folder. However their policy is not to copy it, although I can. Since I live in Texas this is not possible. I am willing to pay all costs, including mileage and entrance fees to the Library. Your help in tracing my family history is appreciated. Thank you Chuck Charles Schober 21 Meadowcreek Drive Melissa, Texas

I am looking for both online sources of York Quaker records and published books for the same. There was one reference to Warrington or Warren records that I found but not sure that was York County.I need records from 1775 and back in time to Lancaster County. Any and all help appreciated. TIA Mary Frances
Hello all, I have been wondering if the Mary ZEIGLER (wife of Valentine FICKES) and Eve / Eva ZEIGLER b. 1784 d. 1850 (wife of Valentine's brother Benjamin FICKES ) and Catharine ZEIGLER (who was the first wife of Abraham DEARDORFF / DEARDORF) b. 1782 d. 1871 are all sisters. I am also trying to prove whether they had a brother, Martin Zeigler, b. 1779. who had a wife named Susannah. She may have been a second wife. These families are all first found in York County, PA and Adams County, PA in the Latimore Twp. area as well as Carlisle, and York Springs. Martin migrated to Perry County, PA/ Their surnames are spelled in various ways --- ZEIGLER, ZIEGLER, ZIGLER, SICHLER, ZICHLER, ZIGLAR, ETC. DEARDORF, DEARDORFF, DIERDORFF, DIERDORF, DEERDORF, DEERDORF, DURDORFF, ETC. FICKES, FICKEL, FICKUS, FICUS, ETC. ANY help anyone can offer on this idea would be VERY much appreciated. Elizabeth

John Mullen died in 1781 leaving Allice with three children: Deborah, Ebenezer & Joshua. Allice Abbott Mullen married second to a Donaldson. She died circa 1820; she died without a will and her estate papers do not name any heirs. The son Joshua Mullen [my 3rd Gr.Grandfather] lived in Henderson, Henderson, KY by 1820.
