Lewis-- I don't think any of us can begin to recognize the names of everyone who writes to the list. If, however, PAYNE is written as a part of the subject line, then we will know that the message is about searching for ancestors named Payne. Actually, using a format something like "William PAYNE b1812 Ga>TX" is helpful. Those whose ancestor was born in a completely different time frame or different area wouldn't have to spend a lot of time reading the message. Anne
