I am doing research on John Payne who immigrated from Killinagh, Cavan, Ire in 1801 to Chestnuthill, Northampton Co., PA. on March 29, 1812 he married Elizabeth Buskirk. Before 1825 they moved to Newfield, Tompkins Co., NY. His brothers LANTY PAYNE and JAMES PAYNE immigrated to Newfield in 1823. A brother THOMAS PAYNE stayed in Ireland. He had a sister MARY ELIZABETH PAYNE who married THOMAS PATTERSON in 1835. I would like to correspond with anyone doing research on this PAYNE line. Jane Ashby
