The "problem" with Windows being set to show a 2-digit date is not going to cause your computer to crash. However, many people will want to change to the 4-digit date via Control Panel. I myself will stick with 2-digits, as the computer programs are doing "windowing" and interpreting 2-digit dates in the high ranges as 1900 numbers, and those from 00-32 as being 2000 series numbers.
