The Centre in Islington is known as the "Family Records Centre". In addition to births, marriages and deaths, it also has census records. (Because of the 100 year rule, the latest available census is 1891) The Public Records Office is at Kew. Both can be found on the web by visiting at www.pro.gov.uk John Paine -----Original Message----- From: glynices@touchstone.co.uk <glynices@touchstone.co.uk> To: PAYNE-L@rootsweb.com <PAYNE-L@rootsweb.com> Date: 08 October 1999 09:12 Subject: To Nola Payne >http://www.cohsoft.com.au/afhc/country.html#uk > >This site led me to English ones.
