Jeremiah Payne b. 1769, in Pennsylvania d. 1 Feb 1861 in Washington County Indiana, married Sarah McCoy (daughter of William McCoy and Elizabeth Royce (sister of Frederick Royce) McCoy on May 9, 1797 in Shelby County, Kentucky.
