Although I've checked many normal sources, there just doesn't seem to be much information on this Payne family branch. PAYNE married MARY BRASSFIELD. One of their sons, another JOSEPH PAYNE married SENIA (or Seney) CRUMBLEY MITCHELL in the 1820s and had seven children in Wilkinson County, GA.
