I'm looking for information on Asa Frank Payne , he was born in Franklin County , Georgia . He moved wife Octavia N.and childten to Ider Alabama in Dekalb County. He was my gggrandfather. Also I'm need infromation on A Captian John G. Payne ,who was named for Fort Payne, Alabama . I was told by my father , he was related to us.I havenn't fond the connecton to him .
