I've mentioned to several individual list people a couple of Register publications on the Paines/Paynes. As i dig through my boxes, after this last move, I'm coming across some photocopies of articles on NE Paines. As I find them, I'll post them for the list's perusal. I can do limited look-ups using my libraries Cumulative Index and run of the Register. The first one I found is: "Seth Payn of Lebanon CT and Paine's Hollow, NY" This Seth is sixth generation descended from Moses. He is NOT one of the Canterbury Paines.
