A kind resident of the area has discovered several graves and we need to see if we can locate ancestors if we can. Please help me to distribute this information or let me know if any of the names ring bells. I have requested additional details on dates and names which would be a big help. If I receive more information I will be passing that along as well. Thank you! Patrick http://papayne.rootsweb.com >Dear Sir, > I am not a member of the Payne family. I am writting in reguards to a >possibly lost cemetary. I live in Ellis County, Texas, and while looking at >some property in the city of Palmer last weekend, we came across an >abandon, >unkept family cemetary. The main person in the cemetary was William P >Payne, >his wife Adraih and some others that could possibly have been children of >these two. The reason I am trying to locate a family line is because of the >condition of this cemetary, it is very neglected, the headstones are all >damaged and jumbled together. Although I am sure that the owner of the >property is aware of the graves, it needs to be reconditioned and these >people need to be remembered in a more proper manner. I noticed that all if >the graves have dates in the 1800's. If you can possibly provide me with >anyone in this area, I would be more than happy to show them where it is. >It >is back in some woods and not visible from the street. It is possible that >someone may be looking for these graves. Thank you for your time....Margie >Boone > ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
