Hello - Anyone out there researching Paynes? Does anyone have any info on William M. Payne who married Judy A. Belcher, Tazewell C0, VA 28 Oct. 1830? Reason to believe they were in McDowell Co area, WVA. Do have Judy's ancestry thanks to "Jeannie Clark (Watts) ancestry on FTM user site. Do not have any idea of William's parentage, location, birthdate, deathdate, cemetery, etc. My husband Sheridan L. Payne b. Wenatchee, WA 1933 is descended through their son Flavious Josephus Payne 1835 VA via son Lewis Martin Payne (MO), his son Roy Kenneth Payne 1904 MO. We have four boys and one grandson so far to carry on the lineage. Our descendants are the only male descendants from Flavious Josephus Payne-Harriet Dean to carry on his name.
