I am seeking information about Clayton Payne my GG grandfather. He was born about 1832 in Alabama. He served in St. Clair Sharp Shooters, Company I, 58th regiment Alabama Volunteers. His brother was killed his third day of the Civil war. I would like to find members of his family. His daughter Martha Clayton Payne was my great grandmother.
