Hello Payne researcher, Looking for any information on this family. Theodore Wesley Payne/Paine born Jan. 1855 in South Carolina, died Feb. 1917 Anniston, Al, was married to Nancy Jane Strain. Thomas Wesley Paine/Payne, Harbour Master Charleston South Carolina, born about 1820 Maragret Elizabeth Booth born in S.C. about 1830, married Thomas Paine/Payne Morton B.Paine's/Payne's daughter married an attorney (Rutledge) with lawyer firm by the name of Rutledge, that had offices in Charleston S.C. in the late 1800's.
