Greetings! I am looking for information on an Amos Payne who emigrated to Canada from Bristol, England, in 1930. He was aged 18. He was headed for the Vimy Ridge Hostel in Guelph, Ontario. I can't check marriage records for the 1930s in Ontario as they aren't released yet. There is a cemetery listing for an Amos Payne in Stewart Cemetery, Tilbury East in Kent County but the information is inconclusive. It may have been a very old grave and the dates of birth and death hard to read. Still, it is a possibility. Any information would be appreciated. Shane London
