It's not that such messages don't have useful content - it's just that there are other, more appropriate forums in which to discuss same. People are members of this list to discuss PAYNE/PAINE et al genealogy, so please try to focus efforts in that direction. This is even more important since our list has 564 subscribers. 564 people receive every submission, and it is to the chagrin of many when the correspondence does not relate to the subject matter of the list. Our list is normally very well-behaved in this regard - please just take this as a polite reminder.
