    3. I am going to send this to several list with the hope of connecting with a cuzin. Copy of will of William Payne of Ananias of Fairfax County. Fairfax County, Will Book K # 1, page 288 Will of William Payne (of Ananias) In the name of God. Amen, I William Payne of Fairfax County and State of Virginia, being weak of body but of sound mind, and memory, do make and ordain this my last will and testament, of this worlds goods it hath pleased almighty God to indow me with, first I recommend my Soul to almighty God who gave it, and my body to the grave to be intered at the discretion of my executors________. Item the 1st My will is that my Executers make sale of the one mocity of land which purchased with W.Jos.Sewell from the trustees of Philip B. Fendall decd with such other personal property as they may think proper for the payment of all my Just debts.____ Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth all my estate both real and personal during her natural life or widowhood and after her death then to be equally divided between my several children to with Polly, William, Elizabeth, James, Thomas, Lewis, Charity, Nancy and John to them and their Heirs forever, but in case my wife should Marry then my Will is that she retain, one third of my Estate, during her life only and the residue be divided among my above mentioned Children, immediately after such marriage,___.Item the 3rd and lastly I appoint my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth Payne, and My Son Wm Payne Executrix and Executor, to this my Last Will and Testament, in Witness Whereof I here unto set my hand and affix my Seal this 19th day of March 1813 William Payne (Seal) In Presence of Geo.Minor Joseph Sewell Richard Wrenn,____ At a Court held for Fairfax County the 20th day of March 1815,______ This last will and Testament of William Payne deceased was presented in Court by William Payne, the exor therein named, who made oath thereto, and the same being proved by the oaths of Joseph Sewell, and Richard Wrenn, is admitted to Record and the said Executor having performed what the Law requires, Certificate is granted him for obtaining at probat thereof in due form.
