Jim miller I want to let everyone know that in the book Falls Church by Fence and Fireside written by Melvin Lee Steadman, on page 397, Druannah Verlinda Payne married John Tucker is incorrect according to the court record on the land distribution of James Payne. She married Walter A. Tucker. Also on page 397 the ninth child of William and Elizabeth (Adams) Payne, John Payne, married 1st Jane ________. The blank can be filled in with Massi. They were married in DC November 1, 1832. I went to DC and saw the info, it is also in Wes Pippengers book, District of Columbia Marriage Licenses 1811-1858, page 464.
