after the death of my father Alfred James Paine in oct last year i now wish to find out more about my family's roots only info i have is as follow i was born in london hackney 7/6/59 to alfred james paine &katherine v paine(merle) we lived in shordich where my father's parent also lived they were cyril alfred paine & maryellen paine(harty) i know my grandfather was a master carpinter and some of his work can still be seen on a house which is across the road from the entrence to whitechaple church ,he was laid to rest in highgate cemertry that all !! can anybody tell me more?? thanks Ian
