The Payne's of Pelham Valley are descended from Benjamin Franklin and Elizabeth Conn Payne. Their oldest son was: Zebadiah C. Payne b. 1843 m. Louisa Price (She later married John Wilkes Booth after Zebadiah died in the Civil War.)
