My father, born in 1914 in Madison Co., NC, worked in either the WPA, CCC or TVA when he was about 16 years old. My aunt said he built roads. Does anyone have any idea which of these projects were in progress in the Madison County area abt. 1930ish (possibly + or - a few years)? Does anyone know where I could possibly get a list of employees of the programs or their web sites, I'd like to do some research on the program he was involved with. Thank you.
