I am researching the Berry Payne who resided in Lawrence County Alabama 1860-1870. He had son's named James, George, and Andrew. Andrew married Caroline Stanley and remained in Lawrence county while the others moved into Tennessee. Andrew's oldest son Wash A. Payne married Nancy Letson in Lawrence County Alabama.
