I am searching for information on the parents of William Franklin, J. T. , and Columbia Payne. Possibly more children that have not been located. William Franklin was either born in Gwinnett County, Georgia, or Etowah County Alabama. He was born 9/17/1861 and died 7/22/1942. He is buried in Gilmer, Upshur County, Tx. He married Gerogia Ann Huff in 1884 in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama. All their children were born in Gadsden, Alabama. His marriage certificate was signed by H. L. Payne. I have been unable to locate info on H. L. Payne or to determine if this was his father.
