My George W. Payne was married in Lawrence Co. Al. in 1864 . He married Emily Garrison daughter of Dennis Garrison . They had four sons and a daughter all born in Alabama , proably Lawrence County . Other surnames associated with this Payne family are : Letson, Farley , Roach , Garrison and possably Stanley . They lived for awhile in the Mountain Home area of Lawrence County .
