Darlene Jackson Hofer descendent of Boswell Blackburn Payne and Nancy Nettles Payne who were born in TN and moved to Clay County, AR abt. 1843. Have yet to find his parents in TN. Rutherford Cty. is where he was suppose to be born & then spent his teens in Madison Cty., married Nancy Nettles in Dyer Cty. and then about 7 years later it was off to AR where the records are very plentiful.
