Cousins: Update on effort to acquire contents of Col. Payne's materials in the 22 boxes at the University of Virginia: Today I sent a proposal to the LDS Family History Library, SLC, to approach officials at the Alderman Library, University of Virginia, for the purpose of reducing the materials in the 22 boxes in the Payne Collection to either microfilm or CD's, complete with Table of Contents and Index, for use by Payne family researchers upon request. The ball is in their court and I will keep you apprised. Don Payne
