Hi all, I am new to the group and just recently started researching my dad's side of the family. I basically have no information, and my dad doesn't remember very much about his fathers side of the family. I am hoping someone in the group will have some info. Basically all I know is my greatgrandfather was Albert Payne - married a Lucy Lunsford. From what I understand, most of the family was in Savannah, where they operated a steamship business.
