Hello Everyone, It seems that some folks out there liked the idea of a volunteer project to index Brooke's Collection at UVA and have written me to acknowledge their interest. Although I had not intended to organize such a project (just made the suggestion that it might be possible), I was curious to know how the Library would respond to such a request. So I wrote to the Director of the Special Collections Department. His response is attached below. It looks like nothing could be done until the new Special Collections Library is finished in 2004.
