Children; 1, Mary F. Payne born about 1796, North Carolina 2. Joseph Payne, born 1798, North Carolina 3. James Payne, Born 1795-1800, North Carolina 4. John Payne born 1795-`1800 Orange County, North Carolina 5. Elizabeth Payne Born about 1809 in Tennessee 6. Jenny Payne, born 100-1810, Tennessee 7. Andrew Payne, Born 1813, Tennessee 8. Abigail Payne, born 1820, Tennessee Unfortunately, I do not hve his parent's names, but I would suspect that his father may have been a Joseph Payne, since they named the first son this, and another James, which would have been after Rachel's father.
