I have found this out on the 1850 census of Berkeley Co., VA. Henson Payne - 40 (m) Laborer, b. VA Margaret - 39 (f) Children John - 10 Mary - 8 James - 6 William - 4 Lydia - 2 There should be an older child then this. Margaret, she would be my Gr., Great Grandmother. She should have been around 15 at the time of this census. Does anyone have information on any of these people?
