Kingsley and Hannah Almirah his wife, Arrilla Kingsley Louisa Kingsley all of Beekmantown in the County of Clinton and State of New York of the first and Thomas Paine of Chazy 22 November 1839 Between Thomas Paine of Chazy County of Clinton State of New York and Sally his wife of the first part and Jason Paine and Nathaniel M. Paine of the same County and State…” (I believe Jason and Nathaniel are sons of Thomas and Sally Jennifer Payne Guarino) 20 December 1841 On same document above: “__all men by these___that I the within named Nathaniel M. Paine do __ sell ___and quit claim unto the __named Jason Paine all my rights and title to the ___ __ piece or parcel of ___for and in ___ of three hundred dollars…signed Nathaniel Mayo Paine 20 or 25 Dec. 1841. (I have worked hard to search for Mayo Payne with little result. This is the first time I’ve seen Nathaniel and Mayo together. It appears, at this point, that this Nathaniel Mayo Paine is the same person as the Mayo Payne I have been searching for. Jennifer Payne Guarino) 25 March 1846 “between Thomas Paine of the Town of Chazy in the County of Clinton and State of New York and Sarah (Sally later in the document) his wife of the first and one Thomas Paine Jr. of the same place” (I believe Thomas Paine Jr. is one of 3 sons of Thomas and Sally. Jennifer Payne Guarino) 5 October 1858 “Nicholas Wells of the town of Altona County of Clinton and State of New York of the first part and Mayo Paine of the same place of the second…”(County Historian believes this may have been timber land).
