We have been completely unable to trace our Paynes back farther than 4 generations, but we do have that my husband's grandfather, Cassius M. Payne (b. 1888) and his wife Ollie Chandler, were married in Lickin (g?) Mo. Wondered if there was a connection with your Paynes. Cassius's father was Chauncy W. Payne, b. 27 Jan 1863(m. Sarah Louise Brackett), whose father was Chauncy Payne b. around 1840 or so. Have you run across these in your research? ROBERT PAYNE wrote: > > Hi Dustin, and Mamie, and List!
