    3. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the only place Nehemiah lived in GA was Hall County, and given the date, would think Mary was born there. Family split up shortly thereafter, some moving toward AL, others to Cherokee County GA (Lindsey), while some returned to SC (Archibald Jr.) Not much, but? 3. Dear PAYNE Listers-- ELIAS PAYNE and KESIAH or CESIAH BRIDGEWATER were married in Nelson County, Kentucky 21 Feb 1800. She was born 18 Mar 1779, but I have no date for Elias. They and their 7 children were killed by Indians in the Pigeon Roost Massacre 3 Sep 1812. Pigeon Roost was in Scott County, Indiana. This massacre was part of the War of 1812. I am trying to learn the names, dates, and place of birth for the 7 children. Thank you for any help you can provide. 1. Anne Payne b. abt 1835 GA
    2. Kathryn Camp
    3. Hello: I am trying to link my great-great-grandmother (Anne Payne) to her family. In the 1860 census of Fulton Country, GA she is listed as 25 years old (so was born around 1835) born in Georgia married to George Washington Camp with 10 month old son William Marion Camp. I believe that she is buried in Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. Her husband's family came from DeKalb or Carroll Co., GA so I have wondered if her family might have the same origins. I have no further information about her. Does anyone know of an Anne/Ann Payne b. abt 1835 in Georgia? Thanks very much for your help!! Sincerely, Kathryn Camp
