I have been hunting a William Paxton (married to Lucy Hogg) probably about 1838 or so. I would think they were either in Rockbridge or Amherst county in Virginia and then moved on to Montgomery county, Missouri. Also present in Montgomery county was Matthew Paxton and his wife Catherine Hogg. I would guess they were married about 1835. Any information out there on these two?
