Hi everyone I'm researching the Paxton's from Southwestern PA specifically Washington County area. My grandfather was Wade Scott Paxton (1921-1991) son of Ernest Paxton (1892-1952) and Olive Leah Duvall (1895-1927). Ernest was the son of Joseph T. Paxton (1867-1930) and Mary Crow. Joseph was the son of Samuel B. Paxton (abt 1841-1926) and Harriet Phillips (b. 1850) All these people are buried in Highland Cemetery, California PA except Wade who is buried in Westmoreland County. I have additional information on each of the people listed above plus siblings and spouses but I want more (and more and more) I am also trying to connect the other Paxton's from Washington County to my line as I believe they must be connected in some way. I know there was a revision to the Paxton We are One book supposed to be coming out and I know there was another version by Adelaide Paxton Doran but it is out of print and I haven't been able to get my hands on it. My grandfather grew up believing he didn't have many relatives (he was an only child) but I truly believe he had cousins and distant cousins right down the street from him - even as an adult. If anyone wants to share information with me, I'd love to compare notes and look into any leads I can. Donna
