    3. I saw you asking for a list of all John Paxtons. My grandfather was John McLeod Paxton born on 12/14/1875 in Mecklenberg Co, NC and he died in Matthews, NC on 1/5/1946. He was the son of William Sanford Paxton who was the son of John (J.) Paxton born on 9/4/1827 and died 6/7/1855. My uncle was John McLeod Paxton Jr. born 1/3/1916 and died 12/3/1985. His son is John Erwin Paxton born 4/30/1948. They had twins who died at birth and one of them wasJohn McLeod Paxton III . Are those enough John Paxtons for you.
